The first production staged by Compañía Teatro Apolo, directed by Antonio Saura (artistic director of Alquibla Teatro), premiered to mark the third anniversary of the Teatro Circo Apolo's reopening in El Algar. It ran for four consecutive days to great public success.

The Company's first-ever casting call was itself a success, with 30 actors selected from more than 50 applicants.
